With Funky the Piano Orchestra the child can discover the musical notes, recognize the sounds of each instrument and learn the sense of rhythm, through a complete educational path in the world of music.

Funky the Piano Orchestra has 2 game modes that allow the child to play with an entire orchestra or, following the lights, to compose a melody with 7 different musical instruments. The toy plays 20 songs belonging to 5 different musical genres and 7 lights, one for each note, to help the child recognize the correspondence between the sound of the musical note and the piano key.

Funky the Piano Orchestra is a toy suitable for children of different ages: used on the floor and then on a table, it follows the baby as it grows. Equipped with 3 volume levels.

Orchestra mode Play all the musical instruments of an orchestra, one at a time or all together, like a real conductor! Start with the piano and then play another of the 4 instruments, the guitar, the violin, the drum or the trumpet. Orchestra mode teaches the child to distinguish the sounds of various musical instruments and how musical notes sound different based on the instrument used.

Composition mode Follow the beat, guess the note and compose a melody! After selecting one of the 20 melodies, you can replicate it by following the sequence of lights and pressing the corresponding key on the piano. Composition mode teaches you how to recognize the sound of musical notes. First the child will only follow the lights, then he will be able to memorize the sounds and distinguish low notes (like C) and high notes (like B).

7 musical instruments to play Funky looks like a traditional piano, but it’s so much more! It can be transformed into one of 7 musical instruments available: piano, drum, xylophone, electric guitar, trumpet, violin and harp. 20 songs and 5 musical genresFunky the Orchestra piano features 20 original songs, divided into 5 different genres. Each genre aims to enhance a main instrument: ethnic music is focused on the drum, rock on the electric guitar, Jazz on the trumpet, Classical on the violin and Pop on the piano.

7 lights Funky the Piano Orchestra has 7 LED lights, one for each musical note and with a perfect match with the relative note on the piano keyboard.  The lights help your child play melodies in Composition mode and understand the cause-and-effect relationship when using a key on the keyboard and the sound of the corresponding note.

3 volume levels Play the game using your preferred volume. Is the child playing alone and exploring the magical world of music alone in the bedroom? Or is he entertaining the whole family with a concert?

Chicco’s musical education We developed this game with the aim of introducing children to Music Education, of course in a fun way … On the basis of musical theory, the little ones should first learn the Sonority and the sense of Rhythm, compared to the score and musical scales. The good news is that the Sonority and the sense of Rhythm can be learned from the early years, without waiting for primary school to have the first approach to music. In addition, this will make it easier for children to learn how to read sheet music and play an instrument!  Learning music is like learning to read: first the alphabet, then the syllables, then scattered words and finally they will be able to read and understand an entire book.

Learn the differences between the different timbres of musical instruments Thanks to the possibility of choosing the musical instrument to play, the child will be able to understand how the same key of the piano can reproduce different sounds based on the chosen instrument. Although each key always plays the same musical note, each instrument produces a slightly different sounding sound, depending on the instrument. In this way, your child is introduced to a variation of the action-reaction effect, which will help them in improving their sound abilities.

Develop logical skills and musical creativity Say Hello to the next Mozart! Through the two game modes, Funky the Piano Orchestra stimulates the development of memory, sequences and the association between lights and sounds. This game, in addition to offering a complete path through musical education, collaborates in the development of other skills such as memory or logical association. In particular, the composition mode allows the child to listen to the melody in 5 parts, where each part is composed of only 3 musical notes that he will have to combine and compose through the piano keyboard. Through the help of the 7 lights and the sound of the notes, the child will be more and more able to reproduce the melody on the first attempt!
